John Hamon

John Hamon (Paso Robles Mayor Pro-Tem) – I have been honored to serve with Mayor Martin since his election to our City Council in 2014. His vast knowledge of City government and Paso Robles history, combined with strong leadership skills has led our city masterfully through these past eight years. He has put forth an attainable vision for job creation to spur economic growth for Paso Robles through new opportunities such as our planned tech corridor and a Space Port certification for our airport. I know that he is committed to Public Safety, maintaining our streets and infrastructure along with our level of service that our Roblans have come to expect. He works well in collaborating with his council colleagues on common-sense solutions that use taxpayer funds wisely. Mayor Martin has my full support.

Fred Strong

Steve Gregory

Steve Gregory (Paso Robles City Councilman) – I support and endorse Steve Martin for Mayor.  In my 8 years on Council, I have been a first-hand witness to how Steve’s leadership and collaboration skills bring together opposingapproaches for the advancement of Paso Robles’ goals. He has continually focused on public safety, roads and economic development. As part of our economic growth Steve is leading the way to develop a tech corridor and Space Port at our airport. With his leadership, the city budget has been balanced every year, he navigated the city through the challenges of state over-regulation during COVID-19 to protect and support our small businesses, and his fiscal policies have helped us pursue economic growth and opportunities while preserving our rainy day fund so Paso Robles can remain fiscally safe and Paso can continue to be a great place to live, work and play. I have worked side by side for the last 8 years in the leadership of our council with Steve and he gives his all to the  people and community of Paso Robles. Without a question, Steve Martin is the best person for the job of Mayor.

Maria Garcia

I have worked with him on many levels through the Paso Robles Chamber of Commerce where I served on the Board of Directors for 13 years, the Housing Constraints and Opportunities Committee, and through my company, North Coast Engineering. Mayor Martin is a man of vision and integrity. He has been instrumental in the development of the major retail developments in the City, development of tourism, improvements to our Police and Fire Departments, and economic development. He has worked hard to improve our roads and transportation systems. He is currently working on the development of a Space Port at the airport. One of the things I like the most about Mayor Martin is that he is patient and respectful. He always has time to talk to the citizens of Paso Robles and to help them out. His decisions on issues facing our town are made with the people of Paso Robles in the forefront. His heart and soul is, and has always been, to be the “voice” for the people of Paso Robles. It is because of his commitment to our home town that he has our vote for Mayor.

John Arnold

John Arnold (Hotelier/tourism) – Steve has been a great supporter of tourism and all businesses in our city.   Being Mayor is a thankless job, but the thing I have always appreciated about Steve is his demonstration of knowledge of government and a willingness to consider all points of view before making decisions.  I truly believe he cares about the well being of Paso Robles residents.

Maria Kelley

Maria Kelly (Broadband Consortium of the Central Coast) – It is my honor and privilege to endorse Mayor Steve Martin as Mayoral candidate for the City of Paso Robles.  I have worked with Mayor Martin in several capacities over many years and most recently in his championship for broadband infrastructure.  His understanding and passion for this vital infrastructure and the need to expand it to meet the needs of the residents and businesses of the community makes him an excellent partner and champion in meeting California’s Broadband for All initiative.  His willingness to engage in a broad conversation and listen and share has already contributed to important conversations that need to continue and he is the leader that I believe is the best voice for Paso Robles to ensure it’s fruition.  I look forward to continuing to work with him.

Steve Baker

Steve Baker – “He’s good for Paso!” Even though we personally live in SLO County, the City boundaries are right across the street from us and as such, the City influences much that happens around here. I believe that as members of the community of Paso Robles it is contingent upon us to work through issues with the members of the City Council, Planning Commission, City Staff and more so that all of us as a whole may benefit. As a key member of that group, Steve has always been attentive to the needs of Paso and has demonstrated time and again that he will sit down and listen to the issue at hand and then take the appropriate action. His years of experience helps him to focus quickly on the central point and address it with those necessary to bring it to closure. You may not always see eye-to-eye with Steve but in the end, you know and understand that Paso will be the beneficiary. As such, I fully support Steve in his bid to remain Mayor of Paso Robles!

Jan Marx

Jan Marx (San Luis Obispo City Council) – Steve Martin has the energy, vision and know-how to lead Paso Robles into an even more economically productive future. His leadership is a plus for the entire Region.

Barbara Wisehart (Resident/community supporter) – I have known and supported Mayor Steve Marin for many years. As mayor of Paso Robles, he has championed issues that I feel are important for this community. To promote inclusion and listen to the voices of our increasingly diverse population, he convened a Diversity Panel. The Panel focussed on improving trust and transparency in government and police actions. I have worked for a year providing meals for the homeless. Mayor Martin has been a proponent of the expansion of services provided by ECHO. With his support, ECHO has been able to provide shelter and resources and is awaiting capital improvements to their facility whereby they can better serve meals to this unfortunate population. Mayor Martin has been instrumental in these accomplishments. For the business community Mayor Martin created a tourism committee in support of our wine industry and hospitality industry. He has championed the Space Force Base at the airport which will bring high tech institutions and jobs to the area. These are examples of the foresight and dedication to the principles I admire in a civic leader.

Dave and Susan C. Robinson, MD (Residents/community supporters) – We are honored to support Steve Martin’s bid for reelection as Mayor of Paso Robles. Steve has an extraordinary record of almost 50 years of service to our community. He is gentleman and a diplomat, a man who brings people, agencies, and other city governments together for the benefit of all of us. He has supports tourism, regional cooperation and development, and solutions to homelessness. Steve believes that civility is important in leadership, and that attitude has filtered from the top down helping to make Paso Robles city services wonderful to interact with. Paso Robles has thrived with Steve’s guidance, and we hope that trend will continue. Steve Martin for mayor again!
